MIN
  1. Namestnikov, Vladislav ($1,000,000 retained)
  2. Shattenkirk, Kevin ($3,100,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Vlad played well in Tampa with real top line mates, wouldn’t be a surprise if he plays well in Minnesota. Can get you 40-50 points for $3M on a 1 year deal. Think this trade can also help them with the rumored Pitt deal since they’re rumored to give up 2 forwards to get 1 back and a dman.
3.
TOR
  1. Andersson, Lias
  2. Pionk, Neal
  3. 2019 1st round pick (WPG)
Additional Details:
Lias former 7 overall, they need to free $ to sign Marner/Kapanen. Lias is only 20 and not bad at all and a good defensive forward.
4.
NYR
  1. 2019 2nd round pick (NYR)
CAR
  1. Vesey, Jimmy
Additional Details:
Get back the 2nd round pick for a potential offer sheet? Vesey is good middle 6 winger and Carolina was just terribly outplayed by Boston.

Pionk. He isn’t bad. Also a defensive coach not named Lindy Ruff could help him.

Lindy Ruff is in Rangers. And he has not helped him at all. Pionk looks lost in defensive zone. He is good offensively but defensively.. meh..

2 1sts and a Pionk sounds like a good haul.

I see what Leafs fans are saying re: Pionk in his own zone, and doubt this happens, but IMO the value is pretty much spot on.

I’m saying I dislike Ruff a lot and feel like he can have a real negative impact on Pionk.
