I don't really like deal with Tampa, but otherwise the team looks good.

Interesting offer sheet, haven't seen a proposal where Copp has been offer-sheeted. A problem I see is that if you are going into the season with Copp as your 2C, he may/probably won't bring too much offense. He's great as a defensive 4C/checking 3LW, but hasn't really shown the ability to be a line-driving, offensive top-six guy. He's shown a couple of flashes, but that's it. Also it's an overpay by $1 million, but I havent seen many offer sheets been signed, so I guess I don't really know what happens there moneywise.

He’s an analytics darling. His oXg is appx 70th percentile, and that’s playing bottom 6 heavy dzone usage minutes.
Smart GMs use this data to make a calculate risk:
“I think with improved linemates (Reinhart and Miller would be by far his best linemates) and a 30% bump in ATOI, he can be a 2C that produces 45-50pts while Mittelstadt develops. Worst case scenario he could be a 3C or very very good 3LW. Regardless a 2nd round pick is worth the comp.”

It’s quasi risky, but at the same time not.
