Future buyout in the making

You know its crazy when Zuccarello's new deal expires before Parise's and Suter's

Hopefully when they extend Kunin next summer, they'll finally have a deal that expires after Parise and Suter.

Im not a wild fan so i dont know him much but is he that good? I heard hes probably your future captain but skillwise how is he?

Not the one you asked but I'm a Wild and Badger fan who has followed Kunin for a pretty long time. Kid's definitely our future captain (or at least should be). He was always the most dominant player on the Badgers and you could tell guys would always talk to him/listen to him when he stepped on the ice, or he'd go up to guys and say what he wanted them to do. His best skill will always be his shot. He has a beauty of a release, and he scored highlight reel goals for the Badgers a lot. His speed is about average, hands about average, but he plays a pretty strong two-way game and he's really responsible in his own zone. He's pretty much the perfect 2nd line player that could be a 1C one day with the right linemates and we should look to lock him up for as long as we can.

He works hard, I think the team just needs to give him a chance since he's never really had PP or PK time. My guess is he'll get a bigger role this season with some of their vets gone, but who knows. Fenton didn't draft him, so he might get the shaft over guys Fenton brought in.
