How would we pay all of our RFAs? Take out Samuelsson and it's more realistic for Buffalo

But it's not enough to get Detroit to trade him. If Detroit trades Mantha it will be for a #1 or a really good #2 defenseman. Risto is good offensively but he isn't that strong in the zone and he is a turnover machine. Samuelsson has promise but he is a long way away from the NHL. Plus he is entering his 2nd season with Western Michigan and might play all 4 seasons and he'd get to choose where to play. C.J. Smith undrafted out of UMass-Lowell. He has had 2 good seasons in the AHL but in 13 games in the NHL he has 2 goals and 1 assist.
