Love it, but not sure LA would consider taking on that much cap and keeping almost 3 mill from Carter for 3 years.
Also I think you can get Scandella or Thompson + a late pick for Rust but not both

Assuming they're willing to admit they need to rebuild getting a younger player to replace Carter + 1st round pick might be enticing enough to do it. They have plenty of cap space and could even flip Bjugstad at the deadline for more picks/prospects. So I'm cautiously optimistic that it would at least be considered. As for the Buffalo trade that's reasonable. I've just seen so many people on here trading Scandella as a cap dump and Thompson as nothing more than a throw in so I figured it could be reasonable.
