Sutter isn’t a cap dump so the Ottawa trade doesn’t make sense for Van.

Eriksson trade includes too many sweeteners, so no.

Tanev alone should net a 2nd round pick. If you retain 50% of his salary, should get more. Frolik is a cap dump for Calgary.

Like the Edmonton trade though

MNC Backes says no. Ducks aren't screwing their cap by taking Ericsson. Sens prefer an LTIR Callahan than an overpaid Sutter. Florida (and most teams) are at the cap, Then can't just take on 3m Beagle because the Canucks want cap space.
