I find it funny how some people act like these aren't "bad contracts" but Jack Johnson's is. Yes, these players are much better than Jack Johnson, but he's not making a crazy amount of money for the NHL.

I agree with some of these marner/Matthew's... but tavares took a pay cut to play in Toronto, same with panarin in NY
