Hard hard pass by Leafs. I am not sure if you've noticed, but wing depth is NOT the problem, and Sean Walker is simply not an answer, or rather an upgrade, on defense. I challenge people to try and find a true fit between the Leafs and some other team that would create an honest to goodness win-win scenario. It's hard to do, especially with short term vs. long term, but I think there's something out there.

A player could be a living breathing black hole and it wouldn't take a 1st rounder to get rid of a pending UFA. AND Ceci isn't even that expensive or that bad!

Based simply on previously done trades in TDL's, Toffoli is worth about a 2nd and a 3rd and Walker is pretty much an unknown at this point as he's hasn't even played a full season yet. They probably could get a 2nd rounder from a desperate team if he plays good from now till the TDL.
