Description

I dont think Avs want to give up a top pick for a rental but here it would only be a 4th unless Kreider becomes more than a rental. Jost is only getting around 12 mins per game and O'Connor even less. With prospects like Newhook, Bowers, and Kaut they are expendable.
Would Rangers do this without getting a high ceiling player back? Depends on the market for Kreider.

NYR will get slightly better offers. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind getting Jost back but his ceiling his pretty limited. We have pretty decent depth for the top 9 for years to come.. rangers will more likely opt for the 1st rounder in the draft or a better prospect like Newhook (i really wanted that first rounder for kreider at the draft)
