Anaheim isn't making the playoffs, So zero chance of Hoffman being traded there.

These moves make absolutely no sense for Anaheim.

We have Sam Steel, Isac Lundestrom, Benoit-Olivier Groulx, Antoine Morand and eventually Trevor Zegras developing at center behind veterans Ryan Getzlaf and Adam Henrique, so why would we be interested in Borgstrom?

Why would a non-playoff team want UFA's Hoffman and Pysyk? Especially when the former means having to switch Maxime Comtois to his off-side?

Why trade away a perfectly good fourth-liner for a guy who you don't think will make the squad this season, and has even less chance of making the team next year?

On the left side of our defense, we have Lindholm, Fowler, Larsson, Guhle and Mahura, so why expend a fourth and a useful depth defenseman to acquire Brayden Coburn?

At the risk of repeating myself, these trades are awful for the Ducks.

Agreed. Plus, I don't see a world that you get Mike Hoffman (Especially if the idea is getting him with an extension), plus Borgstrom, for one good asset (Mahura), one depth asset (Shore), and one meh asset who could've been had as a waiver claim (Spronger).
