"CGY Djoos, Christian Holtby, Braden Pánik, Richard -- WSH Bennett, Sam Rittich, David Brodie, TJ" Playstation accepts. Washington passes due to team needs.
Holtby's getting older every year, and I'm as pessimistic about his next contract as anybody, but he really shows up under pressure, in the playoffs.

Holtby is not getting the Bobrovsky contract from any sane, sober NHL GM. Not close to it.
But if he's available as a playoff rental, his value is going to be closer to what you're offering on Kreider, except that the Caps don't need LHD at any level.
Bennett is younger than Panik, but Panik has three points in his last five games, now that Eller figured out how to work with him. Panik's top-50 among listed right wings in goals/60 so far this season, even though it took him ten games to get on the board. Should keep climibng now that the third line has some plays that work. Would definitely trade him for Bennett, and could throw in Djoos for Brodie or someone else to get it done, if the cap works.
