This is why you dont hand out massive goalie contracts. Difference between great and good goalies is like .008 save percentage and about 6.5 million per year

I honestly would not be surprised if a team like the Habs try to offer sheet Sergachev, in which almost any case, Tampa wouldn't be able to match unless they made drastic moves. Either way they have to pray their RFAs will take team friendly deals.

Basically Tampa has been an under performing organization the last decade .. 1 cup appearance in 12 years of Hedmen and Stamkos .. and Cooper is longest tenured coach .. go figure .. and Tampa has most NTCs by far in NHL .. go figure
