Toronto gets Dumba, the RD they covet. (Main piece of the deal to help TOR win now)
Toronto gets Hartman who can play up and down the line-up, with speed & grit to back-fill for KK or Kerfoot. Not as much scoring but has been known to chip in. Like a Kadri.
Toronto gets a veteran Dman in Pateryn who's experience is a plus in the playoffs.
Toronto gets about $1m in cap space, plus all three guys are signed through next year.

Minny gets speed & scoring with Kapanen on the RW.
Minny gets a young Center in Kerfoot who can push Eek for a potential Top 2 line Center
Minny gets Ceci which we can flip at the trade deadline for another asset.

Dumba is as good defensively as Rielly. Which means bad. Why in the hell do Leafs fans want Dumba is beyond my understanding.

The Wild has so much money and depth at D that they need to move someone. I'd offer Brodin but they need a RD. Honestly, Brodin is the perfect fit for Toronto. Great on defense and a great outlet pass to those stud forwards. If I was Dubas, I'd take Brodin over Dumba to fit better with the team.

Honestly, both would help, and in different ways, yet somehow the same ways. I think if I was Dubas, I'd try to find a way to get both. You are looking at giving up Barrie (who would probably be again flipped by the Wild), Dermott, Liljegren and Kapanen. You'd probably have to add Bracco, SDA, and a pick, hopefully not a first. Just for cap space, I think Ceci might have to go as well.
