Description
The latest DNVR podcast touches on a variety of trade talk scenarios for the Avs. These guys are the most connected and trusted local beat covering the team and do not rumour monger.

Interesting names thrown out there in speculation target, legit conversation targets that they know they are engaging in

This is coming from what they have heard that Avs do not like the Kreider ask in what is said to be Rangers wanting what they got for Hayes. So they are doing their due diligence talking to other teams on availability.

Kase would be a solid fit and if the cost is less than Kreider, have to assume they are locking at moving a 2nd and what???? a prospect like Sampo Ranta is the question.
Trades
1.
ANA
DNVR mentions Ducks and Avs have had conversations about Kase, and from what they heard the reason they are talking is bc the Case ask is less than what the Kreider ask is
    2.
    BUF
This is a speculation target for fun by the guys on the pod, wondering what the Sabres are going to do and Avs were inserted in Mojo at last year at the deadline, and they were interested in him during the summer.

Sabre fans do you see him being moved?
      3.
      SJS
Sharks are in big trouble going forward with their cap situation and prospect, draft pick cupboard is empty

This is a mix of speculation of an Avs target but also hearing that his name is out in the market now based on what he has said in the media lately about this is not what he signed up for when he did the 1m 1 year deal.

Price wont be cheap but this trade speculation can start to come to fruition the closer they come to the deadline

On Labanc, I honestly wouldnt consider moving him unless you send back a serious pick or prospect, which I doubt you guys feel the need to do.

a 1st is 100% given up for Lebanc, but would have to think something along the lines of another prospect as well, not named Byram, Timmins, or Newhook. They wondered about one of the Russian prospects like Kovalenko or Zhuravlyov

They also talked about Kane, more that they feel it would be wise for the Sharks to try to cash in on his value now and get some serious assets back.

Sorry coga. I dont see it. We barely have 12 forwards dressing quite often now as it is. Our dumdum gm has johansson playing second line center. The cost would probably be a 2nd and a lower ranked prospect, but our gm cant afford to do that. As a middle 6 winger on a playoff team you could do worse.

Anaheim needs immediate or near immediate help at RhD, so they won't trade Kase unless they get Timmins on the way back; I don't think your 2020 second and Drew Helleson works because Helleson's arrival is too far off.
