Description
Really like these PP units. Maybe you need to make a trade for a veteran Dman if you give up Schultz.

If Guentzel returns in the playoffs your 2nd PP unit consists of

Zucker-McCann-Rust
Dumo-Hoffman

Hoffman runs point in the Florida PP now. Giving him our best defensive Dman would work imo.

That seems like a lethal second unit. Train Geno and Letang to get off the ice if they don't score in the first minute... Something they both hate to do.
Trades
1.
FLA
  1. Blandisi, Joseph
  2. Schultz, Justin
  3. 2021 3rd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
This deal could have been straight up if he were healthy all year. I think Marino's emergence makes Schultz expendable. Particularly with his UFA status. Hoffman can bounce between lines but when he is on, he can snipe the heck out of the puck.
2.
MIN
  1. Agozzino, Andrew
  2. Björkqvist, Kasper
  3. Simon, Dominik
  4. 2020 1st round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
A lot of cost controlled guys that can contribute. Bjorkqvist could be a middle six winger. Simon is a middle six winger. They also get a first.

If they did do this deal I would assume someone else gets moved for a Dman. Galchenyuk and Bjugstad being the likely candidates.

I don't know what the Pens don't see in him, but I'd be fine with Lafferty playing 4th line in the playoffs. The Pens just have too many pieces that will never fit a role on this current bunch to not make a couple moves.

I also don't know what they do with Desmith, but moving him for a 3rd,like campbell just got, would be nice.

Florida might jump on that. Dreidger is out long-term.

Well. That would work perfect in my proposed deal. Pitt keeps that pick, gives up Desmith with Schultz. Maybe gets a 4th or 5th from Florida with Hoffman.
