they get a better return then what they paid for him. I think if they're comfortable with Fox and D'Angelo on the right side, they'd pull trig

Way too much for Trouba. he doesnt wanna play outside of NY anyways, would never work. Leafs should keep their firsts and get less big names and more character guys who can play D for much cheaper

No way the Leafs want Trouba and his 8m cap hit. Leafs keep 3.2m Kapanen spend 4.8m on a Dman and keep their picks. Plus Leafs don't want to acquire an unhappy Canadian bound player.

That's a lot. I don't think Trouba is worth not having a pick in the top 100 for two years and anchoring down Toronto's salary situation even further.
