Example- holding a player out of the line up longer then they normally would from a injury.

So when playoff bound teams can't move up or down no matter how many games they win or lose so they rest them and say he is day to day?

It’s not always the case... I was just using it as an example for teams like Detroit... day resting Larkin for 2 weeks vs only 1 week the same injury would normally cause. But someone like Boston could do the same thing with the lead they have.

You do realize that trade would piss both of the off. Then as soon as they are both UFAs they leave Columbus and Detroit behind and play on a different team together.
