Description
With the Letang Trade, the Pens go and throw money at Pietrangelo. He is one of my favorite players in the league not named McDavid or Mackinnon.

McCann is killing his value now unless he has a good playoff run. 0 goals and 5 assists in his last 17 games... Yikes. Galchenyuk is wondering why fans turned on him so quickly..

Bring Sheary back for a moderate amount, but don't overpay him again.

Let Schultz walk.

Tie down Marino for eternity, particularly if he looks this good in the playoffs. Marino and Dumo are my favorite Pens D-men and it isn't close. I love all of the plays and big goals we have seen from Tanger and Schultz, but I prefer D-Men that are solid all around and make the smart play most of the time.

I have given Murray and Jarry nearly 8 million and I really don't see them getting more than that after the past couple of months.

I understand I am up against the cap, but this is for fun. Maybe JR finds a way to get rid of JJ's contract instead of burying it. Maybe they don't sign Sheary and let Lafferty play. Maybe they wait to sign Marino to his extension during the season, like they did with MP.

I would take Pietrangelo over Letang every day of the week, even at 2,250,000 more for 6 more years. The next 2-3 are what matters.

I feel like Riikola was being taught a lesson and he may end up taking Jack's spot for the playoffs. I also feel like JR loves POJ and will want to give him a chance at the NHL level this season.

I just feel like Letang ends up in Montreal before it is all said and done. Just one of those things. Suzuki is a real talent, although small for a 3C role.

RFA rights again. Rodrigues would immediately make this 4th line better next year.

fans turned on him quick because unless like McCann he was making close to 5mill and being an actual liability out there. McCann despite the recent drought only makes 2.25mill and plays a good defensive role while also coming in for essentially brassard, sheahan and a few non-significant pick. Chucky was traded for kessel so his expectations were way higher

I understand and I still think Jared is a valuable player at his pricetag. The slump is just to show that I don't think he has the value other fans do. People forget he is an RFA still. If people are throwing 3.5 million at him, I'd rather trade his rights and see what Lafferty, Poulin, or Legare bring to camp. Or go and sign another UFA wing for 2 mill or less.
