What is this fascination about Dennis Malgin. I am starting to think he is the most overrated hockey player in the NHL and still waiting for him to show me why he deserves to be in the Leafs lineup.

I've liked his play as a pest. He battles hard and gets the puck to his more skilled teammates. He is one of those guys who can play anywhere in the lineup in a pinch (although he is a bottom 6er in a permanent role). I'd give him his QA of $787 500 and run him as the 12th or 13th forward next year.

Also OP, Thornton is washed. Neither he nor Spezza (who is significantly better than Joe rn) are 3C's.

Malgin is going to be back in the AHL in short order if he does not get his game in order. He has absolutely no effect on a hockey game.
