I think I'd like a trade based around Strome/Anderson but man I dont wanna give up Marchenko. I wish we had a more stacked prospect pool make this work

I wouldn't want to forfeit the potential chemistry between him and Voronkov, but you have to give to get. Strome's still pretty young and I think he'd be great with someone like Cam, Bemstrom, or Bjorkstrand.

Will second on not wanting to give up Marchenko for Strome. Our prospect pool is already really thin especially with Foudy graduating next year. Plus Torts has recently said that it's very likely Texier takes the 2nd line center spot next season (or at least he'll be given the opportunity to try). Maybe the Blackhawks would be interested in some trade involving Korpisalo or a defenceman like Murray or Nutivaara?

Honestly not a huge fan of Strome’s. IMO he’s overrated and not even a second line center. Strome is carried by his wings. His best games, point wise anyways, came when he was on the same line as Kane. The problem is Columbus doesn’t have a wing even close to the skill level of Kane.

That being said Jarmo has said the The Russians are off limits, that includes Marchenko.

I’m with you on Strome. He’s a good 3C but a stretch as a 2C. That said, he’s a incredibly smart hockey player, big body, great net front guy, good passer, but his shot is just okay and his skating is slow. I know he just turned 23 and while he can improve his shot, I don’t think anyone can really move the needle on skating speed...it’s one of those things you either have or you don’t.
