Description
Not sure Oilers would be interested in this trade but I figured I would throw it out there. If you hate it how would you fix it?
Kings I'm not sure where Kupari fits in your plans but it looks like he is buried on the depth chart so I'm guessing he needs a fresh start. Beckman is a very good prospect and based on production I'm overpaying severely, however Wild are drowning in LW's, and based on several scouting reports Kupari fits the Wild pretty well so I feel like there is a deal to be made here.

Beckman plus the Pittsburgh 1st might get you Kupari. He’s a player i would live to see in a Wild Sweater! Im not 100% sure he is a center at the NHL level, but id take him anyway!

Are you sure you want to retain $1.5 million for the next 4 years? Has Zuccarello really become that bad, since Edmonton seems to be ripping the Wild off.

He doesn't fit, that's it. It sucks to give up 1.5 million for 4 years, but I look at it as saving 4.5 million for 4 years.

He had a really underwhelming year in the AHL this season. I liked him in his draft year but his value has likely fallen.

Are you talking about Kupari or Beckman? I'm a Kings/Reign fan so I know nothing about Beckman, but as far as Kupari goes...

Take the AHL stats with a grain of salt. It was his first year coming from the larger ice surfaces in Europe, and he went to one of the youngest teams in the AHL. Everyone wants prospects to just light it up right from the get go, but the fact is that the AHL is a hard league to play in. It definitely did take some time for him to adjust less time and space. That being said, you could see things starting to click with him near the end of the first half. It's really a shame what happened at the WJC, because by all accounts he was really starting to get the North American game. It's going to be very interesting seeing how he rehabs his injury, because it certainly wasn't a minor one.

As far as his spot on the depth chart, I don't think the Kings view him as a center in their system. He's playing center in the AHL, but I suspect his game will be better suited on the wing in LA. Similar to Adrian Kempe. I think he still projects as a top-6 in that role for LA should he come back fully healed.
