I'm not sure how much of an improvement a 31 year old Shattenkirk is over Holl TBH.

The Kempe move is lateral IMO but, it looks like you have done it for money reasons.

No interest in Watson. Better options out there.

Robertson isn't ready for full time NHL duties yet. Not even 19 until September.

This team isn't any better than the one they have now and there is still no cap space.

I don't think Shattenkirk is all that good of a defenseman.
But even given that, he'll get more than that.

Shattenkirk would be a good add if the leafs were a really steady defensive team that were having trouble in transition and on the powerplay. So basically if the leafs were the opposite of the leafs, this would be good.

????? Absolutely no logic in trading the cost efficient and good RHD Holl in any trade. Gee you say you looking for a RHD and then you give one away.
