Description
Not sure this makes the Wild a better team and I'm not sure if it help the Oilers much.
Just want to know what others think about the trade as far as value and potential drawbacks.

It leaves the Oilers in much worse spot for the Seattle expansion draft. But they likely win the trade for value depending if Dumba can rebound or if JP looks like a NHL player on his return

Oilers could buy out neal and it won't hurt the cap as much.
they could trade rnh for a 1st and a A prospect
they could at least get a second for poolparty

Hm. It's an interesting idea, although I'm not sure Nuge is worth trading Dumba for. I think I'd rather we go for someone younger with more term, but I guess my biggest (rhetorical) question is: how good is RNH without Draisaitl? He hasn't ever really had great wingers, and it's pretty obvious his boost in production this year came after playing on Draisatl's wing. This graph illustrates that pretty nicely (just look at his point production before and after playing with Draisaitl).

Without Draisaitl he's probably a 65ish point center which is good, but that term is a bit concerning to me. If he walks in free agency and Puljujarvi can't translate his game thsn we've just traded Dumba for a year of RNH and a bust
