Trades with Avs SJS and NYR

Uh what. The sharks arent giving you Labanc for a capdump, an AHL goalie, a meh prospect and a fourth. We dont want or need to move Labanc but if we did the ask is a late first round pick.

NYR trade value is there, they probably just dont want either of them. SJS trade is weird, Vlasic has lost some value with his season and Maatta is pretty okay, but I think they would want quality over quantity there, and I think we could get more for Saad from someone else

I mean, Maatta isnt a pure cap dump. He's a pretty okay bottom 4 defenseman. But yeah, the product doesnt equal the sum of its parts. Or atleast i think the phrase is something like that. What I mean is SJ probably would either want picks or a current solid player

Fair, to the sharks he pretty much is a dump though as we have no room for em. Yeah I dont see a trade that works for the sharks unless we wanted to take a shot on Nylander and the hawks wanted someone a bit older and established
