    Jack Eichel is a top 5 center in this league. Hughes or Pettersson would come back to Buffalo.

    Eichel is elite no doubt but $10m has to be considered. Cap space for any team in these times is magnified.

    Horvat is a very good 2C & captain good contract
    Virtanen cheap cost control mid 6 winger
    Demko developing well & cheap
    Utunen depth defensive D prospect.
    The 2nd to help sweeten it.

    I hearya but a 1 fer 1 is not the idea of this trade. Earlier offers with Domi didn’t get even this close. This offers many pieces is the gist if it.

    If there is no Petterson or Hughes in the deal, then one of Podkolzin or Hoglander should be.

    laugh laugh Jack Eichel starts with either Pettersson or Hughes, Not those pieces. Unless either Pettersson or Hughes are starters. Eichel to Vancouver isn't happening.
