Gonna take more than that for Debrincat. He probably doesnt get traded off of a down year

I'm pretty sure Chicago declines. They have a lot of LHD.

Also Nurse is only signed for 2 more years and DeBrincat has 3 more years and then is an RFA. Also I'm not even sure Nurse is better than DeBrincat.

I think Edmonton also adds in the Puljujarvi for Mittelstadt trade. Maybe add a 3rd round pick.

I mean I think the original trade was closer, I would go about it by subtracting from that rather than adding to Nurse, but trading Debrincat just doesnt really make sense unless they are trading Debrincat and a piece for an upgrade, as he is right in the wheelhouse of our youth movement, being 22 while we have Dach, Boqvist, Nylander, Mitchell, etc right behind him. I think the Hawks probably wouldnt ask for Bouchard unless they were giving Murphy back as well, but the type of forward the Hawks would be looking for just doesnt exist in the Oilers pipeline or on the oilers team in general
