weird that cf let me make the contract if he requires an elc. somehow i dont see him playing for 925k though.

It's like that with everyone. I just checked Kaprizov and Sorokin, it tells me what the ELC range is but it doesnt restrict it. So yes he does have to sign an ELC by NYI may opt to burn 1 elc year with him

No he does not. He will be signing his 1 year ELC by no later than next week. It will be burned for 19-20 and he can sign longer as an RFA

And why are you buying out Cizikas?! He's one of our most important players. This doesn't solve anything, not to mention having one (too inexperienced) extra as a d-man. This doesn't work
