Hard to put value on guys like Marner but I’d want Domi and Suzuki. But then I feel like Montreal fans wouldn’t be happy. Toronto fans wouldn’t be happy with Domi and a first. So there’s no winning in proposals like these. Lol

It's not quite Marners value but his playing value and trade value are quite different since his contract is a huge risk to another team.

Personally, I wouldn't touch him unless it was a steal of a trade. You cant easily fit his cap hit onto another team, and he goes right into FA in his next contract so you risk having him walk, just not an easy situation to trade for.

The Habs would need to overpay extremely to get their hands on Marner. The Leafs would never trade him to a divisional rival since it would be a pain in the ass to play against a playmaker like him.
