This proposal has been on a couple Ottawa teams and has been offered by a few Ottawa fans in other threads

Yes he had a pretty bad year, but so did everyone on San Jose. Buffalo fans are still fine with Hertl for a top 10 pick even though he only averaged 3/4 points per game.

He's only 24 so is still improving and will be able to be signed to a very affordable contract. Just think, if he can return to form he will be getting 60 points plus every season and will cost 4 million or less.

I wouldn't give up a 1st for Lebanc. Most I'd offer would be something like Balcers, a 2nd a conditional 4th that becomes a 3rd if Lebanc hits x amount of points.

While I do think a 1st is a fair price for him I'd be fine with that

So how about Balcers, the Islander's 2020 2nd, and Colorado's 2021 4th that upgrades to Ottawa's 2021 3rd if Labanc scores 50 or more points?

I think that's pretty reasonable.
