You're way off on value on both trades.

The MTL one: Danault, while can be a good 2C, is also 1 year from UFA, You're trading an RFA Bottom 4 defenseman, a 21yr old top 10 drafted prospect and 8OA for Danault and 16OA.

To me, 8 doesn't go anywhere unless it's for a bonafide #2 C who is a young RFA ala Cirelli

The VGK one: Tuch I don't expect to be going anywhere, he's a good young player on a very team-friendly deal. I assume most of this trade is to alleviate VGK cap, but they don't need any help. I'm sure Fluery is gone in the offseason but not by giving up their first and a good player. A team like us would take him cheap so they don't have to give up much. I think the issue is that you think Risto=Tuch and VGK will trade a 1st to be rid of Fleury and that just isn't true.

Also, you can't underpay Merril just to get another defenseman on the roster.

Now that Tuch is healthy and showing what he can do.... they aren’t moving him. He’s a stud.

Better off going after J Anderson from CBJ

Mtl says yes and probably flips Mitts + Mete + 2nd for a scoring winger...

That offer to Vegas does not get you any one of the assets by themselves let alone all 3.
