I prefer you would switch Roy to Walker and we'll retain Iafallo 1M

Columbus declines this offer. We are looking to upgrade our top 6, particularly with a player who can be a viable 2C on a contender. If you wanted to request a package in return for Nylander, we'd do that. But this trade does not move us toward our goals.

Yeah, and then make the first a second. Maybe even a third. Major difference between the potential of Walker and Roy

I don't know that I agree with that. I would agree that Roy is better right now, but Walker is the higher potential player. Roy had a fantastic season that exceeded all expectations of him, while Walker just had a mediocre season, and even then their performances weren't significantly different.

If you're basing trade value off of cap hit and who is coming off the best, most recent season, then I would absolutely go with Roy. However, if you're trying to make a trade based on potential, then Walker is the higher valued target. If I'm Blake, I'd be trying to trade Roy over Walker right now. Trade while value is at his highest. If he regresses at all next year with an increased role and less sheltered minutes, then his trade value is going to drop immensely.

I don’t think you are going to find a team willing to give up a legit 2C for Anderson and Korpisalo. Korp is relatively unproven and Anderson’s value is at an all time low. Likely best if the Jackets just keep him and see if he can bounce back, and the same with Korpi, let him play another full year as a starter and see where his numbers are. Then he has value
