I think it's risky and likely a bad idea. It's a waste of a 15th overall pick and I think Gudas for more than 2.5 is a mistake. I also think giving a goalie who has a career 3+ GAA that contract is entirely a bad idea.

Iafallo is cheaper than Kapanen and even cheaper with the retention but is signed for one year less, so let's consider him not quite Kapanen's value. That means that Iafallo = the first-round pick. Leave the rest out of this, because as we have to keep saying over and over, Los Angeles doesn't want Johnsson or Dermott.
