It’ll take a helluva lot more than that to dump 2 years of 6mil and you wouldn’t get a high 3rd either. The Isles are trading from a position of major weakness, right now they’re the biggest offer sheet bait in the league

I dont see Ottawa being a home for Boychuk. They've got a lot of young guys who are going to start needing NHL time and will have no trouble reaching the floor with Chabots new deal starting.

One of komarov/hickey is more likely. You can trade komarov + bellows.

Maybe, but who would be targeting Komorov or Hickey?

And I wasn’t trying to treat Ottawa as a dumping ground. I thought Holmstrom was pretty good incentive.
