big thing to note, is that the ottawa trade is mostly for kulak, with weal being the piece that brings the sixth and the other part of the 2nd

Kulak is a top four defenseman, I'd do that trade even for a third pick if i was ottawa

I think there are better ways to use that #24 pick than to trade it for 1 year of Tatar.

For example I'd like to try to trade up and get Askarov and really set us up in goal for the foreseeable future.
