Description
This is if Shattenkirk even considers 5M$.. Else, I'd move Petry before I lose him for nothing, then get the extra money and offer Shattenkirk 6.5 for 4 years.

Buffalo has a good pick, so I'd give them a proven blue liners, a 2nd and 4th picks for this year and a third next year. Domi is worth mid range 1st round, but when you include those other picks you may get the bite you want from BUffalo who need a plyer like him. And Kulak cost nothing and plays very well.

Columbus need a good second centerman. Add a goalie, Waked and a 2nd rounder you can grab their high 1st rounder.

Bring up some younger talent, sign Hall, Brassard and Shattenkirk and you improve your roster. Brassard can move up if KK or Suzuki have problems, Evans played well and can roudn up your 4th line, Hall is the punch you need on the offense, and Shattenkirk is the best to match up with Weber and finally get that top Dline that can take on any top line in the NHL and score goals.

To many pieces I'm the Buffalo trade. Domi Kulak and a 2nd, probably gets it done.

Danault alone is worth Columbuss 1st, no need to add anything.

Thoughtful, but if you want a top 10 first round pick this year it’s going to cost you Domi and Danault. Domi isn’t a center anyway. You say that is too much? Then look elsewhere.

No it doesn’t Buffalo. Probably won’t be trading 8th overall. They only have a couple good prospects in their system and need young ELC to start filling out the roster.

To be fair, lots of talk about Buffalo needing a player like Domi. They also say he's not worth their first pick, but to add a 2nd round pick would seal the deal. I'm not convinced of this, hence why I added more pick form the Habs then Kulak. 8th pick isn't a NHL ready player. They need help now which Domi fits the bill, and need a Dline man to help consistency on that end.

SO while I see that you are Buffalo fans, this may not look great in your eyes, but it does help fir the bill for the team aspect. He's a great player which can be put out on the ice at any time and play hard. The only reason we, as HABS fans, are trading him is the action he did by removing all mention of the Habs as soon as the playoffs were over, and the fact that Julien isn't playing him like he should.

I hate Julien with a passion... He's done nothing but hurt the team since he came in. The only time we were in the playoffs (without the pass we got this year) was when he took over from Therrien... Since.. nothing.. So I think Domi doesn't like the way he's being used. I'd sign him for 5 yrs at 6M$.. but .. Don't know if he's really interested in staying.

Dunno man... Danault is a first liner in MTL.. but anywhere else, he's a 2C but more of a 3C. I don't hink he's worth a 1st pick alone.
