Probably not.

Doesn't help us with keeping Pietrangelo, and we have a lot of LHD around these days.

The Blues absolutely say no to this.

If we look at the style of defenseman, then it would probably be unlikely that Rielly pairs well with either Pietrangelo or Faulk. Everyone isn't playing to their strengths in that situation. So he's going to end up with Bortuzzo.

The Blues are a team built on defense. Parayko is certainly a top-5 defensive defenseman in the League, and one that still puts up ~35 points. That's a lot more valuable to our system when we have a Pietrangelo.
