Description
only major move is adding Danault. This is assuming no extension in place. 1st is unprotected which is risky enough that I think MTL accepts and they can move Petry for a 1st and still be set on rd. I would be willing to negotiate different terms but I think its a solid offer.

The lines:

1st line stays the same as before and is one of the best lines in the league. Jack is your play driver goalofsson is your goal scorer reinhart is the net front presence and target man.
2nd line
Johansson is the play driver which he played extremely well when put on the wing. Danault is your power forward/ 2 way guy that skinner has thrived with his whole career. And skinner is the goal scorer.
3rd line kahun is the play driver/outlet pass guy. Cozens will be a power/net front presence that can score and tage ia your goal scorer. But tage and cozens can interwine as they are both bigger and both finishers.
4th line has got some question marks but lazar is a great 4th line center asplund has been responsible and can help this line be offensive. Okoposo is the undisputed leader.
Dmen
Dahlin is the top guy and can be paired with miller or montour.
Mccabe and joki were solid last year when paired together. And merril can be with miller or montour. I like pairing with montour better as the will allow kontour to be the outlet starter on that pairing and dahlin in the other pairing.
.goaltending is hoping for another year of growth under one of the beat goalie coaches in the league and the tandem staying healthy.

Overall this is a solid team 3rd line is a big question but is filled with talent. Top 2 lines are solid and will make teams not just eye eichels line. D stays solid and should remain a top 10 force. Just hope that PK and PP improve and this team will be a playoff team.

We’re not trading Petry, and we don’t want one of the worst and most overpaid defenseman in the league. The unprotected first is definitely interesting, but we aren’t taking on Ristolainen.

Weak offer. Danault would raise more value on the market.

Your idea is terrible for the habs and would make us absolutely brutal next year. Without Danault and Petry this team would get lit up especially with having Risto on the blue line. Danault costs this years first.
