Try more like 4 x $3.5m for DeMelo he's not signing that cheaply.

Pelletier is a smaller but high IQ LW that plays in the QMJHL. Leading up to the WJC (which he was invited to for tryouts for team Canada) Pelletier was 4th in the league in scoring only behind Lafreniere and his 2 linemates. Unfortunately he suffered an injury around that time and missed the tryouts. Pelletier is a player who takes advantage of his speed and game sense to generate offensive pressure. He also has a great 2-way game and is more of a playmaker than a goal scorer. IMO is a player that has a pretty high floor. He should make the NHL but is probably a middle 6 player.

Disagree, if we plan at qll to resign Johnny Pelletier should totally be available for trade. We really dont need more left handed wingers. Especially if MEP also pans out but cant cut it at center

Hornqvist doesn't waive his NTC for a poorer team. He's a Penguin this year

All this team is missing is a 2C to push Backlund down to 3C. Theyve got elite wingers in Tkachuk-Mangiapane-Lindholm-Dube-Gaudreau already
