The thing to remember here is that Domi is a RFA while Rakell is signed for 2 more years on a cap friendly contract. I'm a Habs fan and I approve of this trade.

Exactly Domi can sign 5-6-7 years while we got Rakell for only 2 years + they get a 22 yo dman
