    Jacob Chychrun is not worth that... He is good but not for that package. Plus you are adding cap dump with him.

    I mean, it's a lot in term of quantity but beside Danault, nothing here is a big loss for us. Poehling Mete and Fleury all have potential but with pretty low ceilings. The 2nd rounders are far away and picks outside the top 15 are basically lottery tickets. Grabner is one year away from free agency at 3.5, nothing to bad here either. Chychrun is a top4 defensive stud, maybe loose a 2nd round pick or Fleury and I do this trade everyday.

    Even with the retention I wouldn't give the 40th overall pick for Stepan, getting a 4th doesn't change anything, too good of a pick to part with for just another short term piece.

    Agree with you completely. (This is someone else's trade, after all, but it's a good start and pretty close.)
