I think either soucy or Merrill are options to fill out the LD , ideally I would bring in both and trade McCabe but I don't see that happening

Montour I believe is worth more but I thought if STL doesn't resign pietrangelo he'd be good replacement.

This also keeps us closer to the "internal cap" that has been suggested

Johan Larsson is about as pure a center as there is and you have him on the wing. Tage Thompson has taken 30 face offs in his career and you put him at center.
