Description
Yes, a couple of Dmen are playing on their wrong side, but I tried to pair them up with responsibility (especially in the case of Cholo). Seider won't come back this year, neither will Veleno. I could see Rass coming back, but it is going to take a trade or two.

IDK what DET's Ownership has appetite wise for taking on cap dumps, but Stevie Y could crush it if they'd be willing to do that.

I like the Gagner signing, i have always liked him. I don't know why the Jackets gave up on him after only 1 year, he had his best career numbers that year.
As for Nielson, what a brutal contract. I'm really not sure why the Wings didn't buy him out years ago, or at least this year.
I know they need the cap payroll, but buy him out and start over, the Wings have the $$$.

Merrill is the insurance for dekeyser id think. We still need a rd if seider and lindstrom are staying in Europe. Cholo can barely play on the left so far asking him to m9ve to the other side will be a disaster. Honestly this team is a bunch of parts that don't seem to fit together.

I’m with you, if this is the team I’m fine with that. The kids are developing elsewhere, and the team we have will do probably as well as we expect. Top lottery pick in our future again today. Lots of veterans to show the guys in Detroit how to be pros, and if they play well enough they’ll get traded to a contender.

It’s amazing that 17 of our 24 guys (including Zetterberg) on this team have 1 year left on their deal.

Nielsen’s buyout is ugly
