If they're ever looking for a way to make this web site a little better, a cool feature would be an estimate, as you're making a trade, of how far over the cap you're pushing the other team.

Another great feature would be a reminder when you try to trade guys who have just signed as UFAs but haven't played a game yet, that that doesn't happen.

I've been reading up on Gostisbehere, and his knee surgeries, recovery. It doesn't look good, and it's a shame. He wouldn't be the first hockey player to have his career end early because of his knees. There's no fun in seeing all this happen to Gostisbehere.

I don't understand the leafs trade at all. If Philly is "going for it" Toronto would be likely trading down in the 1st round for offloading the Jimmy Vesey in exchange for a 4th?
