There is nothing the Habs could trade that would convince the canes to trade Slavin. Slavin is pretty much untouchable from a canes perspective

THese trades are all sort of bad, for all teams.

Blue Jackets are not trading Jones for Pieces.

Tampa Jumps at it, as long as Stamkos approves

Carolina, though they love Slavin might be enticed for Caulfiled and Romanov, but I doubt Habs like this trade

Arizona saves nothing, and actually adds cap, something they can not do.
