Edmonton doesn't ever talk to the Jersey boys ever again after that offer WOW! I would maybe offer Russel and a 4th for Palmieri on an expiring contract.

Yeah nah on Palmieri trade. Most I'd offer in a normal year is Kahun, Samorukov and a 2nd. But that's in a regular season without a waste of at least 2 weeks (could be 6-8 games, meaning about 1/8th of the season...not all that useful). I can't see the deadline being as active this year on the big names because of that, or perhaps it simply makes values go down as the loss of 2 weeks has to be factored into each trade. Probably lots of trades will be seen for depth players who teams don't need to get their playoff positions, but will be useful in the playoffs especially if injuries rack up.

EDM not parting with Bouchard for rental... and his skillset is not a primary need for NJD. Nurse would be more realistic guy to discuss there.

Coburn does nothing for team long term - we can do better for Butcher even if just futures.

WPG not far off, maybe without picks, but Goose got show up first.

And would not touch the TB deal. Just walk away. Run, if you can.
