Jets Protect - Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers, Dubois, Wheeler, Copp, Appleton, Morrissey, DeMelo, Pionk, Hellebuyck

Seattle selects Stanley (his stock has risen above Harkins and Niku this season)

Jets have handshake agreements to sign UFAs Stastny and Lowry after expansion. Dubois convinces his best friend/roommate from Columbus to sign as a UFA.

I'd also like to see the Jets use their $5M in cap space to "help" a team under a cap crunch or sign a UFA (Schwartz, Saad, Hoffman...) who is looking for a 1 year deal in another flat cap season. Put him on Stastny's wing. I've used Granlund in this model.

Love all the UFA signings! Signing Granlund (or other) will depend on Copp & Lowry's contracts for sure and I wouldn't mind seeing one of our prospects fill that role as well. Either way, love this team!

It will be an interesting next few games for Vesalainen. I truly hope he seizes this opportunity playing with Wheeler and Staz. If Vesalainen performs, the need to sign another UFA is diminished. Gustafsson and Torgersson might also be ready to contribute more.

JoMo will play with Savard, pending the development this year Samberg with Poink and Heinola with Demelo....Beau is there to replace one of them...Forbert can re-sign if both arent ready(Which I doubt)

Copp and Perfetti will need to switch, Perfetti wont be developed enough to play on the top line but potentially after a season he may like Dach did last year(start on the 3rd line and move up). I almost think that Stastny at 36 wont require 4M...but thats neither here nor there.
