He's probably worth a 3rd at best right now.
I think the management is waiting to see how Lauzon/Zboril do. So far, they've played well but Lauzon isn't a 1st pair guy so it would be better to acquire a top4 D at the deadline (imo). They probably do a similar deal to the one in 2019 (Donato+pick for Coyle) but this time with Bjork instead of Donato+pick for a top4 D. I know Graves played in the top4 last year and he is a good dman so he could be a target. But Colorado is trying to win the Cup so they probably keep him...
I like Kaut but with Pastrnak-Kase-Smith on the right side, I don't think he would have a chance to play.

Kaut;

I think you may be able to get Bjork for maybe a 3rd without giving a decent prospect in Kaut.
Bjork has had top6 potential since he was drafted but he was an offense-only player for the first 3-4 seasons and Bruins want their young players to be good two-way players. Now, he's great defensively but seems to have lost some of his offensive upside. It doesn't help that Cassidy isn't using him properly and burying him with 4th liners. I wouldn't say call him "He is a okay bottom 6er in the NHL nothing more than that" right now, it's too soon. If he has a better opportunity, who knows what happen and Seattle could be that opportunity.
That being said, I agree, Colorado could keep Kaut and just send a 3rd.
