Ryan is strictly better than Byron, Flames dont consider touvhibg that contract unless Looch is going the other way.

Also Flames arent going to pay to move Ryan. The argument above is flawed, Ryan was placed on waivers with 100 other players at the exact same time, moat rosters were set at the time and a loy of teams were tight up against the cap. As the season evolves injuries happen and cap space opens up, his value is probably a 3rd at the deadline to a contender if Flames decide to sell
