Description
The Ducks aren't a good team by any means, but if they played this lineup they'd at the very least be watchable and would be capable of rolling four lines that are at the very least capable of keeping pace with most teams.

They at the very least have two exciting lines in their 1st and 2nd line. Playing Zegras with Henrique and Silfverberg gives him two players who can capitalize on his passes.

The 3rd line has three players who are capable of driving play and have defensive chops. The 4th line becomes a slot machine (sub Milano in for Backes when healthy) which is better than the dead in the water 4th line they've utilized with Grant, Des and Rowney.

DeAngelo is a very good dman, however, NYR mishandling of his off-ice persona has made him a depreciable asset which may help the Ducks get rid of Grant, who doesn't have a hamstringing contract, but he's just not good and yet for some reason teams still want him. DeAngelo becomes expansion bait to keep SEA from taking Mahura.

Manson is still a very good RHD but the Ducks will likely lose him in the expansion and the Ducks aren't good enough to try to keep him.

Larsson for Honka is just a changing of scenery trade for both teams.

Lou gave up a 2nd for Greene don't tell me he wouldn't give a 7th for Des.

Rowney is in the last year of his contract so he becomes a body in the bottom-six for WSH.

Isles need someone better than Deslauriers, preferably someone who can bounce between lines 2 and 3. I'd love Heinen, is he available?

WSH have had more injuries at C than W, the last couple years. Rowney's still listed at center, but doesn't really play there, much. Renting his services for a 7th is great value, but I think at the deadline, the Caps might be better served to look into Grant, although of course I think the Rangers will be all over the above if it's offered.

You have some interesting ideas and make some good points.

I would give Rakell about 5 more opportunities to find his game (he missed three open nets Monday night) and then switch him with Terry.

You might be a tad optimistic on what Manson's trade value is.

He got offed cuz he supports Trump and said a mean word. I work with far worse characters in my workplace and we still get the job done. People are just babies these days.
