Sure NSH gets some good picks, but they're also for 3 different drafts, the 1st is 2021 instead of 2022, and then they still have to take on 3 years of Scandella who's basically a number 5 defenseman. I'm certain NSH can find a more appealing deal than this one -- Preds pass.

True, I guess it makes more sense from a STL perspective, I just wasn't 100% sure what the value of Ekholm is and I wanted to gauge that. Also forgot about the devaluing that 2021 picks do have. Thanks for the insight

What helps keep the window open is having picks to draft players on ELCs so that when other guys price themselves out you have replacements.
